Rethink the Way You Store Clothes
Mothballs for storage can produce naphthalene fumes, a known carcinogen. As an alternative, store only clean clothes in airtight containers without mothballs. Opt for lavender, bay leaves, or cedar instead.

More About ACRCF
The ACRCF is a 501 c (3) not-for-profit research institute dedicated to the prevention and control of cancer and chronic diseases.

Our research is to understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that cause cancer; finding genetic markers to identify risk of cancer; and preventing and controlling cancer through non-toxic methods, nutrition and exercise.

Scientific expertise among our researchers includes cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics, pharmacology, pathology and nutrition.

One of ACRCF’s goals is to identify critical cellular and molecular targets in carcinogenesis (the development of cancer) including the identification of genes that control susceptibility to tumor development.

The use of nontoxic agents that are effective in counteracting the induction of cancer in a variety of tissues is studied. Our scientists have discovered several nontoxic substances that inhibit tumor growth.
